Abstract: The formation and voltam metric behavior of manganese chlorophyll werestudied.The electrochemical red uction mechanism of Mn chlorophyll a (MnChla)in aqueous solutionwas investigated and discussed.During the electrored uction of MnChla ,the porphyrin ring was singlyreduced with 2 electrons and the Mn￣(2+) ion remained its original state,The reduction rate constant k_m=0.36/s was gained.
